Details for Big Give – Arts for Impact 2025
Between 18th March – 25th March Big Give and FPAC are launching the second annual Arts for Impact campaign running 18-25 March, with the aim of raising over £3 million to support 285 arts charities making a transformational difference in their communities.
During the week donations made by individuals are matched pound for pound so you can make double the difference.
Last year GCT supported Chispa CIC to take part in the campaign. They were successful in raising over £10,000 including matched funds for their Full Tilt programme which has benefitted communities in the centre of Gloucester by offering an arts, physical activity and youth space in Gloucester Park.
GCT is committed to supporting and enabling local arts organisations who want to make brilliant things happen here in Gloucester. This year we are supporting GASP to take part in the campaign.
Over the past three years, the number of children seeking sanctuary in the UK has tripled. In response, GAS Projects with your support will commission three artists to collaborate with young refugees (16-30) on creative projects that foster belonging and connection. With limited support and increasing isolation, this initiative provides a safe space for young refugees to express themselves and integrate into their new community. Led by artist Joke Amusan, participants will create a text-based window banner reflecting themes of migration and welcome. Additional artworks will be developed with local cultural and community groups to further promote inclusivity in Gloucester.
