Gloucester Culture Trust is led by a director, Hollie Smith-Charles, and a board of trustees.

Here’s a little bit about us.

Hollie has worked in fundraising and business development for organisations across the South West and in Birmingham. She has particular experience in collaborative working and a passion for talent development, new work and supporting young people.

 


Tyler Attwood Trustee Gloucester Culture TrustTyler Attwood: Trustee
Tyler is a contemporary and street dancer, experienced teacher, event organiser and director of Community Interest Company – Team Multi Styles Battle CIC. He plays an active role within his community in Gloucester working with children and young people to provide creative opportunities, accessible to all.

 

Anne Cranston Trustee Gloucester Culture TrustAnne Cranston: Trustee
Anne is project manager for Gloucester Cathedral’s Project Pilgrim, a founder member of Gloucester Heritage Forum and trustee at environmental charity Groundwork West Midlands.  She has over 20 years’ experience working with communities and is interested in how places shape the people who live in them and vice versa.

Jack is a theatre producer, designer and filmmaker.  He co-runs Dwyle Flonk Media, a digital marketing and media design company.

 

 

Neil Hopwood Trustee Gloucester Culture TrustNeil Hopwood: Trustee
Neil is Projects Manager for GFirst; Gloucestershire Local Enterprise Partnership. An engineer by training but a keen music promoter in his spare time, Neil has lived in Gloucester for 30 years and is  passionate about showcasing the city and its amazing people.

Naisha has an MSc in International Public Policy and is currently studying law. Passionate about youth engagement, education and women’s rights, she has programmed numerous events for Gloucester History Festival.

 

Stephen Marston Trustee Gloucester Culture TrustStephen Marston: Trustee
Stephen is Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gloucestershire.

Nicola is a theatre director and actor. She is an Assistant Director at Royal Exchange, Manchester as well as co-founder of TwoCan, Gloucestershire’s first professional disabled-led theatre company and an Associate Artist for Kazzum and GDance.

Lise is Chair of Gloucester Culture Trust, a Gloucester City Councillor for Barnwood and Cabinet Member for Culture & Leisure.

 

 

Deborah Potts Trustee Gloucester Culture TrustDeborah Potts: Trustee
Deborah is CEO of The Music Works, a Gloucestershire-based charity that transforms lives through music, and CEO of Active Gloucestershire.

Adam is Finance Director for Ecclesiastical Insurance Group.

Donna works both in the commercial sector and the cultural not-for-profit sector. She set up a charitable organisation, GUST, to support cultural development in Gloucester. Gloucester History Festival is their flagship event.

Julie is National Trust’s Curator for Gloucestershire and a fundraising specialist.
